Follow Friday! (3)

Q. What do I do when I are not reading?

I am currently working on my own YA project, editing an adult urban fantasy manuscript and readying it for querying, and I am looking for a job in the NYC or DC areas (anyone have any ideas? LOL). I have six years of higher education and have yet to productively use it. I also make jewelry for my cats and watch Netflix like a madwoman! I knit, scrapbook, collect postcards via Postcrossing, collect stamps, collect souvenir fridge magnets, and travel. I enjoy long walks on the beach and moonlit strolls through the park. Oh, wait, not a dating ad? Crap. (Any potential suitors, particularly hot single NHL players, please email me.)
I will actually get out there and do some following tomorrow, but right now I am about to pass out. Just thought I would do this before I forgot! Can't wait to hear what everyone else does with their non-blogging time :D

    Thanks for stopping by The Bawdy Book Blog! You should TOTALLY move to DC (not that I'm biased or anything, haha). I love it here (except the traffic, that really sucks), and lots of jobs!
    It's also very culturally diverse with lots to do here. :)
    I've always wanted to learn how to scrapbook...but never enough time!

    Old follower stopping through. Traveling sounds nice, and I've also failed to productively use my degree. I sometimes feel like it was a waste of time and money. Though I love my college experience. Good luck finding a job hon!

    NYC is a hard place to get a job even when getting jobs are good. I don't know about DC . We just moved from NY 3 years ago back to PA.

    Sounds like you're quite busy! Busy can definately keep life interesting.

    I'm a fellow Netflix crazy person. We love the instant for watching TV shows too (King of the Hill, South Park, Family Guy, Buffy, etc.) :) So mad about the new plans though! Boo :(

    Seriously? Cat Jewelry? You are one brave lady, my cat would probably scratch my eyes out if I tried to accessorize him! The closest I ever got was a glittery collar (so cool). When I'm not reading I'm probably cooking or try to learn a new crafty skill like cross stitching.
